Professional Profile
Simon is currently a consultant S&C coach on the DP World Tour and has previously worked with European Tour players at scale, including multiple winners. He is also contracted by England Golf where for the past 10 years he's assumed responsibility for u18 physical development in the South region. Simon is based at a prestigious independent school with a reputation for sporting excellence, managing performance support services to junior elite athletes across a multitude of sports. During his time in the role he has facilitated the successful transition of many pupils to senior professional and international sport. Notable OC's include current members of senior international squads including the England Men’s Cricket Team, England Men’s Rugby 7s, and GB Women’s Hockey.
Simon has been delivering S&C support to athletes since 2009 and his broad experience spans professional football and tennis academies as well as Olympic and Paralympic sports, namely judo and netball. Together with over 15 years experience as an applied practitioner, Simon is also an author and has lectured at a number of university across the UK, including University College London. He has published several peer-reviewed journal articles in the areas of exercise science, athletic preparation and rehabilitation, as well as book chapters and a host of online and magazine articles on golf physical preparation.
